Catches win matches

Portcullis lost the toss and were put in to bat.

The openers Ronnie and Kannan put on 39 runs before Kannan was caught for 26 after 14 overs. After that although Ronnie tried his best the wickets get on falling at a steady rate.Ronnie ended up with 17 portcullis all out for 67.

After the tea interval Portcullis managed to drop 4 catches, although two were difficult. A good spell by Mohammad saw him take two wickets with Ranjan and Kannan taking 1 apiece.

It was one of these days that had our bowlers had some luck and our fielders took some of the catches it might have been a different outcome.The batting also was lacking, with only the openers Ronnie and Kannan scoring double figures. not all was doom and gloom as we only gave away 8 wides and 4 byes.
