2 records broken for Portcullis today

You can only play what is put in front of you and Portcullis have broken 2 records today after breaking the total runs scored of 299 last week.

First they bowled out Gordonians for 15 and then won the game by scoring 13 runs with 3 wides. Nair took 5 wickets with Maidment taking 3. Old man Collison took two good catches at mid off the other catches by Kannan and junior Collison. There was a splendid run out by junior Collison after a terrific throw in by Cox. Bryce and Collison senior saw us through with Bryce top scoring with 10 runs. The match was played in good spirit by both teams. Tarun a former player was in the Gordonians side.

We had a 20/twenty match afterwards with Nair and Maidment playing for Gordonians with Portcullis coming out on top.

The fielding again was great with nothing going cheaply. Great score, great game and great pint afterwards.

Compliments to Ronnie and his missus for the teas. Lovely.
