Portcullis Cricket Club

It's taken a while but we are finally up and running.

Thanks to the hard work of Andrew Blackwell and Stephen Hall, the website has been updated with the new club badge and the new club store. 

Club kit will be available through our store with gratitude to Serious Sport who are producing the kit and hosting the store.

Portcullis Cricket Club will be hosting their 5th Indoor Practice session of 2018 on Sunday 8th April. The practice is held at the Sheddocksley Sports Centre. The net session runs from 12pm till 2pm. If you are new to cricket or to the area why not come along? It is only £5 for the two hour session

The new season is approaching fast, and Portcullis have a packed fixture list with Saturday Grades Cricket, Sunday R&D cricket as well as the odd friendly and hopefully 7-a-side tournament.

 Portcullis Cricket Club will  be hosting their Third Indoor Practice session of 2018 on Sunday 18th March. The practice is held at the Sheddocksley Sports Centre. The net session runs from 12pm till 2pm.

It is with a heavy heart I have to announce the loss of a second player (and a second Chris!) from last season’s Portcullis side.

Portcullis’s 2017 season ended on a high when they were nominated by their fellow clubs to win the Grade Three Fair Play Award!

The selectors would like some help.

In previous years selection had its own problems. At first it was the eight or nine people down as Yes plus whoever you could drag along at the last minute. More recently it has been a juggling act of getting a strong team and making sure there was some fairness in rotation of who was dropped.
